War Games: Liedtext (Englisch)

Text: Michael Schreiber
Lektorat: Daniel Albrecht

We're not facing each other - man against man,
we are fighting through computers - dazed, so dazed
I'm staring on the screen - yeah, that's how we fight;
with a cig between the lips, and a joystick in the hand -

We're playing War Games,
we're but playin' fuckin' war!
We're fighting online,
tough and determined, to win the day - WIN THE DAY!

...show no mercy is our rule!
Just this one final fight...
Fast - blitz and bomb the enemy!
I don't ever - wanna lose!

We ain't no brothers, unknown in the war.
And you Joe Bloggs - mazed so mazed,
you read in the news - Hell, we're fighting there?
for the cig between your lips - and the beers on your hips.

We're playing War Games,
we're but playin' fuckin' war!
We're fighting online,
tough and determined, to win the day - WIN THE DAY!

...no more blood-stained dirty hands!
are caused online in foreign lands...
We do not hear the despaired cries,
of civilian people, who stand in our ways!

We're killing online - yes, we're fighting through the net,
well, sure it may be mean -  but not against the act;
so, please Joe Bloggs - let your moral not betray;
or should instead of a machine - yourself be blown away ?

We're playing War Games,
we're but playin' fuckin' war!
We're fighting online,
tough and determined, to win the day - WIN THE DAY!
 - And your desire for everything and much more and so FUCKIN' CHEAP!

Fair prices - blind fury!
bulk discount and - poor children!
Bio fuels and starvation;
Our welfare nation sucks foreign blood!

We're bombing far away - under magic-caps,
our viruses pervade - through every firewall.
We're fighting not for honor - nor for some dough - but
for the growth food chain - we so much adore!

We're playing War Games,
that's how we fight a war!
Who would not be glad,
that others die - and nobody cares!

Come play with us War Games,
log in, take a seat,
feel comfy - shoot, you got a new smartphone?
Neat! And so cheap, really?
Oh, gotta pay attention here, press FIRE!
Yeah, asta la vista, hahaha.

War Palace: Liedtext (Englisch)

Text: Michael Schreiber
Lektorat: Claudia und Peter Schreiber

Excluded and without perspective,
near to the gaping abyss - you don't stare into the deep,
you dare the heaven...

Come...
In our War Palace!
Here, amongst friends,
you do have a place.

In our War Palace -
there is no more exclusion,
yeah, here IS your place!

With us, you don't earn any medals, but
all of our warriors turned into martyrs,
just with us, WITH US - you feel snug and safe,
and respected - for us you'd commit murder...

Here...
In our War Palace!
Here, amongst friends,
you do have a place.

In our War Palace,
there is no more exclusion,
yeah, here IS your place!

Before we take your soul to heaven,
give us nothing more than you're God-awful life!

The last rage begins to wither, but the time is near -
let us commence it!
Your hands full with sweat, would not stop to shiver,
your soul screams despairing*, but it's way too late
to run away from death!

You stay here...
In our War Palace!
All doors are now closed - there is no escape!
You'll stay until the end: an assassin-tool, now
turn to shreds!

Not even your very last will is your own one; 'cause
not as martyr you'll see yourself in foreign eyes,
dying lonely... in desparity... ! **

*) of course, we sing "your soul's scream's despairing."
We didn't mistake an adjective for an adverb - we'd
never ever do such a thing! :-D

**) Dictionaries should list this word; it's useful,
    sad but true.

JAWOLL FRAU KAPITAEN!: Lyrics (English)

Text: Michael Schreiber
Lectorate: Karolin Löser, Daniel Albrecht

JAWOLL FRAU KAPITAEN! (Yes Ma'am!)
WIR WERDEN GEH'N! (We're gonna go!)
JAWOLL FRAU KAPITAEN! (Yes Ma'am!)

From nothing comes nothing,
yeah without consumption, there's no expansion,

The best of it has an export champion,
'cause it can exploit other nations,
the commercial routes have to be secured;
of course, the military would be used.

---
QUOTE www.einsatz.bundeswehr.de => Horn von Afrika (Atalanta),
Author unknown, from: 24.04.15 - analogous:

In the Song: This navy corps [...]
(In Original: "This navy corps is primarily protecting humanitary services [...]")

Song: [...] is also being used to fight the piracy at the coast of Somalia.
(Orig.: "[...] and is furtherly being used to fight the piracy at the coast of Somalia.")
---

JAWOLL FRAU KAPITAEN! (Yes Ma'am!)
It is a pleasure for us!
WIR WERDEN GEH'N! (We're gonna go!)
Fighting for the trade routes is a pleasure for us.
JAWOLL FRAU KAPITAEN! (Yes Ma'am!)

The fatuity is of great use,
to trick 'em all who would oppose,
and if some clever president,
opens his mouth, calls a spade a spade - and stands to it -
then comes the press, and shuts his trap, properly - for the world to see.

COUGH...

JAWOLL FRAU KAPITAEN! (Yes Ma'am!)
It is a pleasure for us!
WIR WERDEN GEH'N! (We're gonna go!)
Fighting for the trade routes is a pleasure for us.
JAWOLL FRAU KAPITAEN! (Yes Ma'am!)

Frau Kapitän's never been to war,
but herself she's a very cute... lady.
Who is not glad, that we have her,
with her, our soldiers do not get bored,
sure, they are happy, 'cause one like her,
we've had never before...

we didn't, did we?
Hm... under Schröder and Sharping we also had fun.
Would you shut up - we're talking about:

FRAU KAPITAEN!
It is a pleasure for us!
WIR WERDEN GEH'N!
Soldiers who dirty their hands for us...

It is a pleasure for us!
WIR WERDEN GEH'N! (We're gonna go!)
We are ready for a new epoch...
WE'RE GONNA GO!
We all are, yes WE ALL ARE:
FRAU KAPITAEN!

'Cause we all, yeah 'CAUSE WE ALL ARE THE EU!

Reading the Caricature

The caricature is a bonus item that comes with both, the digital album and the CD.

Text:

In the foreground: A flip chart, and written on it: "Operation Atalanta decided?" Below, a big box for "Yes" and a small one for "No." In front of the flip chart, a man is standing. On his left arm, he wears an armband. Upon it the two capital letters "EU." He is checking the box for "Yes." Above the man, a speech bubble says: "Thus, by the majority and democraticly, the mandate is decided !"

Behind him, two other men are standing. They are grabbing each other by the scruff of their necks, pausing at the moment. The left one - in front of him a caption with the word "CONTRA" is laying on the ground - he gesticulates protestingly and stares aghast towards the man with the EU armband. The right one - in front of him a different caption with the word "PRO" is laying on the ground - he smiles contentedly.

At the right hand side, also in the foreground, two other persons are standing. They are looking at each other. One looks puzzled, giving a shrug. The speech bubble above shows but a question mark. The other answers: "No, I also don't get it..." Both are holding a caption in a hand; one person's caption reads "Not", the other person's caption reads "Entitled to Vote."

The background is separated by a balustrade. On it, a poster is displayed. It is torn in the middle. The remaining half reads: "Today: Germans to Somalia ?" In front of it on the ground is laying the other half of the poster. It reads: "Warships for the commerce !" Both halves are written double-spaced. Joining them, they read together: "Today: German Warships to Somalia ? For the commerce !" Note: In German, the words Germans and German are the same word: "Deutsche"

Behind the balustrade are two areas for the audience. Each area is filled with people's silhouettes, sitting on chairs; their bodies drawn without details, and faceless.

The left area is labeled "Non-Voters." The right one is labeled "Others."

In the right area, an ice cream seller is selling an ice to one of the spectators in the "Others" area.

In the middle, between both areas, there is a corridor, which leads to an exit in the back. Already, two persons are leaving the scene.

At the lower right, the drawer's signature is placed. It reads "MS" in capital letters, followed by "dot 2015."
